The Madeira Sky Race is a technical mountain race with steep elevation changes (3600D+) and a high technical level in the Skyrunning discipline. It features technical sections that require minor grade II climbing in mountain environments, sometimes exposed, as well as through forests and coastal cliffs.
The contrast of natural landscapes, combined with the rich biodiversity and geodiversity along the course, makes Santana one of the most spectacular locations for practicing this mountain sport.
