Starting at sea level, the course concludes at the top of the cliff, near the Rocha do Navio cable car.

This reserve, bordered by Ponta de São Jorge and Ponta do Clérigo, covers a total area of 1,710 hectares. Being exclusively marine, the Rocha do Navio Natural Reserve includes the seabed up to 100 meters in depth and the islets of Rocha das Vinhas and Viúva.
